Infusion Therapy

Infusion Therapy is the pharmacy executed administration of medication through intravenous and non-oral routes as prescribed by a physician. Home infusion therapy is a widely accepted for patients wanting to avoid costly, time-consuming, and uncomfortable hospital stays.

TNH Advanced Speciality Pharmacy administers infusion therapy services to treat our patients at their greatest convenience while maintaining and surpassing standard hospital level care. Doctors work closely with our specialized infusion pharmacist, clinical dietician, and registered nurse to decide what treatment will take place in the home, clinic, hospital, or doctor’s office. When that is decided, TNH is able to compound and prepare the infusion therapy service that will be administered on behalf of our trained and specialized staff.

We coordinate patient benefits, eligibility, authorizations, nursing (if any), and the free delivery of our medications and medical equipment 24/7 with full patient access to our on-call infusion pharmacist and team.

Our full time infusion staff is experienced with in-home or in-office infusion therapies, nursing coordination, intake/insurance process, billing protocols, and pharmacy techniques, including infusion pumps and USP 797 compliance. We also provide state-of-the-art infusion technology at our facility with an average turn-around time of 2-6 hours from time of order to delivery and setup in the patient’s home or office.
